Lindsey Parry - Head Coach

With a passion for high performance sport – Lindsey Parry is one of South Africa’s most widely recognised coaches.
Having led a team to the London, Rio and Tokyo Olympic Games as well as the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh and the Gold Coast, and coached both triathletes and runners onto podiums of some of the world’s most illustrious races, Lindsey has a unique ability to understand what it takes to succeed at any level and thrives on coaching, motivating and inspiring others to do the same – whether it’s on the track, on stage or behind a mic.
Lindsey’s 1-on-1 coaching services are massively in demand and he only takes on new coaching clients when a space opens up on his coaching roster from within the Coach Parry Online Training Club.
Shona Hendricks - Head of The Female Athlete Programme and Strength & Conditioning
Shona is the former Head of Sport Science at the High-Performance Centre, University of Pretoria. She returned from Madrid, Spain, in 2013 where she completed her MBA in Sport Management with Universidad Europea de Madrid (Real Madrid FC).
She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Sport Science (MSc Med Sport Science) and she has also completed the NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) course.
Shona began her career at the Institute for Sports Research at the High-Performance Centre during her honours degree in Sport Science in 2007, where she was the lead strength and conditioning specialist for the SAFA Girls/ Basetsana U20/U17 National Ladies Football Academy.
She has worked in all national levels of Women’s Football from u17, U20 and Senior National Team (Banyana Banyana). And has also worked with PSL teams such as Kaizer Chiefs, Moroka Swallows and Mamelodi Sundowns on a consultation basis.
Shona’s current work and interest lies in endurance sport (running/triathlon) conditioning and sport science working with elite ultra-endurance athletes such as Caroline Wostmann (2015 Comrades & 2Oceans winner).
Devlin Eyden - Running, Cycling and Strength & Conditioning Coach
Devlin Eyden has a passion for seeing his athletes grow and excel. From novice runners or cyclists across all disciplines to elite mountain bikers representing South Africa at World Championships.
In addition to helping you ride faster, for longer, Devlin also has the personal touch when it comes to your bike setup, aiming at improving the overall rider experience.
With his background as a Sport Scientist as well as a Strength & Conditioning specialist, performance is Devlin’s main priority, be it in the gym, the lab or out on the road or trails.
Being a keen runner & cyclist and having completed the Cape Epic among others, Devlin has first hand experience in what it take to reach your goals.

Nicki de Villiers - Sports Nutrition
She has been working in the field of dietetics for around 20 years and have been concentrating on sports nutrition for the last 14 years and started working at High Performance Centre at the University of Pretoria around 10 years ago.
Nicki completed the IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition and a master’s degree in dietetics and also currently works as a private consulting dietitian at her own practice in Hatfield.
Nicki consults for various PSL teams, professional rugby teams, the Comrades Marathon Association and individual athletes at all levels.
Nicki is also a part-time lecturer in sports nutrition for students studying sports science, biokinetics, sports medicine and dietetics at the University of Pretoria. Her passion is working with athletes to guide them to optimal nutrition to support training in achieving their ultimate goal!
Ntutu Letseka - Physiologist
Ntutu is a molecular biologist by training, with a Master’s degree from WITS University, specializing in Evolutionary and Population Genetics. He is currently employed at the University of Pretoria in the Department of Biochemistry, Genetics and Microbiology, as part of the undergraduate teaching program.
He has a keen interest in endurance sports, particularly distance running. From his educational background, he is drawn to the science behind performance. He is interested in helping recreational runners improve and believes that all of us have untapped potential that can be unlocked with the right guidance.
His philosophy is to provide runners with the tools to help them achieve independence in training through understanding both the what and why of their training as they build proficiency towards their goals.
Ntutu was a track (1500m and 3000m) and cross country runner in high school before life got in the way. He was inspired to pick up the sport again as an adult after seconding his father at the 2011 Comrades Marathon. He has been an avid recreational runner since then, taking part in distances ranging from the mile to the half marathon, with a personal best of 33:51 for 10km.
Dr Kelly Muller - Strength & Conditioning Coach
Kelly is a qualified physical therapist & rehab specialist with more than 8 years of experience.
She has a PhD in Sports Science; and has published research looking at how acute respiratory infections (specifically Covid) affect athletes and their return to training and performance.
An avid athlete herself, Kelly is a field hockey international having captained her country of birth, Zimbabwe, on several occasions, she's also run the very tough Soweto Marathon in under 4 hours, has a half marathon PB of 1 hour 39 minutes & has a 10k PB of 42 minutes.
Kelly has a serious passion for athletes that includes injury rehab, reducing the risk of injuries, regaining confidence after an injury, strength & conditioning, and performance.
Kelly loves the outdoors too and is always up for a challenge. From scuba diving to skiing, triathlons to mountain biking.
Nicky Freedman - Coach
Nicky is a UK qualified Run and Triathlon coach based in Edinburgh. As an active sports person throughout her life, she is very passionate about the benefits an active lifestyle can bring to everybody, regardless of age or ability.
This inclusive approach has seen Nicky coach a variety of groups, from local running and triathlon clubs (both adult and children) to dedicated training programs for new through too experienced athletes.
As a mother of three kids, with the eldest now at University, Nicky has great personal experience of running and triathlons through life’s different stages - from marathons and an Ironman as a new mum, through to running marathons as a fabulous fifty, Nicky really does ‘walk the talk’.
This combination of coaching qualifications and having run 18 marathons (including Boston, New York, San Francisco, London) and over 200 parkruns, means that Nicky is a very realistic and understanding coach!
Christine Roos - Customer Success & Community Manager
Christine has over 12 years of coaching and mentoring experience in various sporting codes.
She has been involved in sports her whole life and will tell you that exercise is her sanity.
She represented South Africa in both water polo and hockey, but focused on hockey as she got older and has played for South Africa 41 times.
After retiring from International hockey, Christine turned her focus to triathlons and more specifically open water swimming events and has her sights set on swimming the English Channel.
She uses her sporting platform to raise awareness for a charity very dear to her heart.
Christine believes anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it.
Nikita Van Staden - Content Creator
From scuba diving to trail running to mountain biking to multi-day hiking... Nikita is a keen enthusiast of all things outdoors!
Graduating with a degree in economics and being an avid recreational runner, she has found her niche by combining her love for copywriting, content creation, and of course her desire to help guide athletes to achieve their optimal goals.
Nikita has completed some of the toughest multi-day hikes in South Africa and hopes to someday expand her list internationally.
Her philosophy is to continuously strive to live a holistic life, exercising regularly, eating healthily, seeking a way out of her comfort zone, and challenging herself every day to better her abilities.
Amish Kooverjee - Strength & Conditioning Coach
Amish graduated with a degree in Sports Science from the University of Pretoria and is an avid runner and triathlete.
He is working as an intern Sport Scientist at SEMLI in Pretoria and has a passion for long-distance running and endurance sports. He is an online endurance sports coach himself.
He has just completed his first Ultramarathon at Two Oceans 2023 and is building up to his Marathon PB attempt at Cape Town Marathon.
Amish is a strong believer in the unlocking of people’s potential that they do not know they are capable of and that being consistent, being present, and loving what you do are the ingredients to be successful within the endurance space and in life.
